Simple rule: 1 running backend instance = 1 slot. Your plan's pool is shared across all backends in the project.
ⓘ Stopped or undeployed instances do not consume a slot.
Buy extra slots per project. The pricing ensures upgrading your plan is always the smarter move before you hit the cap.
💡 Extras are an escape valve for short-term peaks. Maxing extras on A1 ($15.50) costs more than A2 ($12) — upgrading always wins.
Any of our managed services counts as 1 deployment slot. This includes:
